A unique way to drastically reduce the energy consumption of cooling equipment. When the battery is charged by the alternator (vehicle engine) or from an external 230V power supply, the voltage increases.
This creates an electrical energy surplus that is used by the electronic board to run the compressor at maximum speed. As a result, the temperature inside the refrigerator drops and continues to cool down the food and beverages, effectively using them as cold storage.
As the temperature drops, the compressor gradually reduces the speed. Once the set temperature or the minimum temperature (1°C) is reached, the compressor maintains this temperature level at minimum speed and extremely low power consumption.
The kit can be easily retrofitted to increase the energy saving potential of your Isotherm DC 12 / 24 V Cruise Elegance refrigerator.The new Cruise Elegance refrigerators are already prepared for the installation of the kit by an installation location of theTemperature sensor.
